US trip and Mars/Venus – an ‘old’ hit

Sanyesz has just returned from a funding team building trip from the US. In these two weeks he and Janos were able to meet with a great number of friends (those who had already been to Hungary and some hadn’t, yet) and shared about their ministry to a lot of churches and small-groups in 4 cities (Atlanta GE, Birmingham AL, Lookout Mountain TN, St. Louis MO). The goal of the trip was to invite 13 individuals, families or churches to join our support team with a monthly $100. This is the amount that would be needed for us to be able to go back to full time ministry. We’ve only heard back from a couple of people so at this point it would be hard to say whether this need was met or not. It was hard as a family to be apart for 2 weeks, but at least Esy had a chance to meet with her friends, and also spent a few days at Sanyesz’s parents. Dear Friends, thank you so much for making this great journey possible!

Life didn’t stop back at home while we were away… The student ministry team did a great job by organising an outreach based on the theme that we had used successfuly a long time ago in college, and which is based on the Gospel and a book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus by John Gray. It was a great final event for our long series of teachings on relationships. 40 people showed up and about a 3rd of these were unbelievers. It’s thrilling to think about this many people coming to hear about what we, Christians had to say about this controversial topic.

Please, pray for our next event on 25th Feb. A biologist from our church is invited to share about Creationism and it will definitely blow the kids’ mind away as in Hungarian schools the deceptive theory of Evolution is taught exclusively.

      Dear Jay and Anne,
Thank you for your prayers. I enjoyed the times spent together, I wish it was longer… I’ll never forget the GT tour and the back-rub restaurant :) Thank you so much for hosting us.
